The TS-A6882R 6""x8"" speakers feature carbon graphite polypropylene woofers reinforced with Aramid fibers, a lightweight synthetic used in bullet-proof vests they not only stand up to the stress of high-volume playback, they hit louder using less power. Butyl rubber surrounds help keep cone movement smooth and resilient, so the bass plays tight and clean. The TS-A6882R 4-way speakers don't scrimp when it comes to the mids and highs either. Pioneer made the midrange drivers out of a special laminated polyester that's 30% lighter than conventional material, resulting in faster, more accurate reproduction of instruments and vocals.
