Super Woofer

Kenwood flagship subwoofer, delivers you peek power output of 300W. Its durability is assured oven during long hours of high output operation as the speaker unit is designed to dissipate heat effectively away from the motor. The die-cast aluminum basket will improve power handling characteristic, and four vent are positioned around the basket to ensure that the entire subwoofer is properly cooled.
• Carbon-Glass Fiber Cone
Kenwood’s newly adopted carbon glass Fiber material, combines strong glass Fiber with the existent carbon cones. Bass reproduction is further enhanced by an increase in the cone area.
• Honeycomb Structure Cone
A3-layered structure of honeycomb structural body sandwiched between glass fiber material. An ideal cone which has both the characteristic of lightness for quick piston motion, and stiffness for thrusting air evenly outward without bending.
• Super linier Spider
The new spider’s roll gradually becomes higher towards its center, meaning the center area is able to move more without getting stretched. The aim is to transfer up-down movement toward the outside gradually, before the center gets stretched. The outside has more surface area to take the stress than the center, so mechanical damage during large excursion decreases, leading to a subwoofer that is tough against power.
• High Power M Series
A big drawback with coaxial speakers mounted in the front/rear doors or in the rear parcel tray is directivity : the mid-high range tends to point to the passenger’s feet or the car’s roof, preventing listeners from enjoying the speaker’s full potential. Kenwood solves this problem with “angled direct sound” employed in these new speaker’s. Mid-range and tweeter drivers are slanted to steer mid-high range frequencies towards passengers ears and deliver clearer, more directional sound with less lost. The drivers are slanted to the very limit a 10 angle and the tweeters project only a very small amount.
